Businessman and football administrator Isaac Tetteh, popularly known as T.T. Brothers, has openly questioned Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku over his proposal to extend the presidential term limit to three.

The proposal, if approved, would allow a GFA president to serve for up to 12 years instead of the current 8-year limit.

The idea has sparked widespread debate within the football fraternity, with some stakeholders supporting the move for continuity, while others view it as a step towards consolidating too much power in one office.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Sportsnite, Tetteh expressed concern that such a move could send the wrong signal about leadership in Ghana football.

“Why is one person trying to show the whole world that he is the only one who can manage Ghana football?” he quizzed.

Tetteh’s comments add to the growing chorus of voices challenging the proposal ahead of the GFA Congress, where the matter is expected to be deliberated.
