The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the fixtures for the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League Season, set to kick off on Friday, September 6, 2024.
This start date marks 82 days after the conclusion of the 2023/24 season. Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 will begin their title defense with an away match against Dreams FC.
Hearts of Oak will host newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in their opening game, while Asante Kotoko SC will travel to Karela United.
The first matchday features several exciting fixtures, including former champions Medeama facing last season's second-placed team, Accra Lions.
Newly promoted Vision FC will take on Berekum Chelsea, Nsoatreman FC will face Young Apostles, and Aduana FC will compete against Heart of Lions.
Gold Stars FC will host Legon Cities, and Nations FC will entertain Bechem United.
The season will also feature the first leg of the Super Clash between Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak on Match Day 1 at Baba Yara Stadium between December 13 and 16, 2024.
The return fixture scheduled for Match Day 30 at Accra Sports Stadium takes place between May 2 and 5, 2025.
