Japanese-born Ghanaian goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, has officially joined Italian side Parma until 2029.
The 21-year-old former Urawa Red Diamonds youth product was formally linked to English Premier League giant, Manchester United but ditched them for a move away to the Italian club.
Speaking to the club's official website after the unveiling, Zion revealed his excitement for joining them and ready to fight for the badge.
“I know this is a club with a great history, with many fans worldwide, and we will be playing in Serie A. For this reason, I will always strive to give my best and contribute to the team's success.”
Suzuki played in 32games last season for Saint Truiden in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
