Official: Ghanaian youngster Dirk Asare joins Lierse SK

Belgium league side Lierse has announced the signing of Belgium-born Ghanaian midfielder Dirk Asare.

The 20-year-old penned a deal with the Lier based club after impressing the technical handlers during his trial after leaving Mechelen when his contract expired.

“Our sporting staff is convinced of the qualities of the talented playmaker. During the practice matches, Dirk stood out for his agility and technical ability”, the club announced on their official website.

Dirk began his youth career at KV Mechelen and was included in the first team under Wouter Vrancken.

The son of the former Black stars defender Emmanuel Asare made his debut under Besnik Hasi in the Jupiler Pro League.
