Kumasi Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of forward Albert Amoah from Accra Great Olympics.
The 22year old penned a deal that will see him with the Porcupine warriors until 2027 after completing a successful mandatory medical.
The signing of the Great Olympics youngsters takes Asante Kotoko's addition to their striking force to three following the arrivals of Abdoelkarem Yagoub and Elvis Kyei Baffour.
Albert Amoah had an impressive season last year, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists in 17 games.
Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his excitement about Amoah’s signing, stating, “Albert is a player who brings a lot of energy and creativity to the field. His ability to both score and set up goals makes him a versatile forward that will fit well into our tactical plans. We have been following his progress closely, and we believe he has the potential to make a significant impact at Kotoko. We are delighted to welcome him to the club.”
Asante Kotoko will begin their pre-season tour in the coming days as they seek to be in good shape ahead of the new season.
