Speaking at a press briefing in Accra on Friday September 5th, the Director General National Sports Authority Yaw Ampofo Ankrah emphasized that maximum security will be provided before, during, and after the match, with police, military, and other security services deployed to protect fans, players, officials, and staff.
Tickets for the highly anticipated encounter go on sale immediately after the presser, with the following price categories:
VVIP – GH₵1,000
VVIP – GH₵500
Lower VVIP – GH₵200
Centreline – GH₵50
Popular Stand – GH₵30
Tickets will be available at the Accra Sports Stadium, Independence Square, the Shell filling station near the stadium, and Airport Shell. Additional outlets will be announced later.
The NSA cautioned fans that no tickets will be sold on match day, urging supporters to purchase theirs in advance to avoid the rush seen during Ghana’s clash with Chad.
In addition, car passes will be required for entry into the restricted ring around the stadium. Fans without car passes are advised to park farther away and walk to the venue, with Independence Square designated as an official parking area under heavy police supervision.
With excitement building, the NSA has assured the public that both ticketing and security measures are in place to ensure a safe and memorable match-day experience.
