Head coach of FC Samartex, Nurudeen Amadu has reacted to his side’s historic fear of winning the 2023/2024 Ghana premier league.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Akoma FM, coach Nurudeen revealed his excitement for chalking such a historic feat with the Samraboi based club.
“Not many people at Samartex including the fans knew who I was.”
“Winning the league is a huge accomplishment because the goal was to finish higher than last season, not to win the league.”
“For me, it's a dream come true. A big thanks to Prof Mintah who recommended me to Samartex.”
“Many thanks also to Edmund Ackah, who believed in me a lot”, he told Akoma FM.
Fc Samartex emerged champions of the Ghana premier league on Sunday, June 2, 2024 following a slim 1-0 victory over Bibiani Goldstars at the Nsenkyire Stadium with two games to spare.
