The Ghana Table Soccer team, the Black Shooters has officially set off for Harare, Zimbabwe, to participate in the prestigious Asante Sana Invitational Table Soccer Tournament. This marks the team’s maiden international appearance outside the shores of Ghana, a significant milestone for the growing sport in the country.

The delegation is led by the President of the Association, Mr. Kwesi Akaibo, who has been instrumental in promoting table soccer nationwide. Accompanying him are five top players selected to represent the nation: Obed Asafo, Raymond Eshun, Benjamin Amoah, Isaac Sarfo, and Jonah.

Speaking ahead of the trip, Mr. Akaibo expressed his optimism about the team’s chances. “This is more than just a tournament, it’s an opportunity to showcase Ghana’s talent, build international relationships, and inspire the next generation of players back home,” he said.

The players, brimming with confidence and national pride, have undergone weeks of intensive training in preparation for the competition. Their participation not only aims to secure victories but also to put Ghana firmly on the map in the global table soccer community.

The Asante Sana Invitational brings together some of the finest table soccer players from across Zimbabwe and beyond, offering a platform for skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. Ghana’s delegation is determined to make a strong impression and return home with both experience and, hopefully, silverware.

As they embark on this historic journey, the entire nation watches with keen interest, rallying behind the team in hopes of a memorable debut on the international stage.
