Kpando Hearts of Lions snatched a last minute penalty to earn a point, securing their spot in the Ghana Premier League.
Berekum Chelsea took a two goal lead in the first half through Stephen Amankona in the 12th and 45th minutes respectively.
Hearts of Lions pulled one back in the 55th minute through skipper, Ebenezer Abban.
The towering center back who has been their savior throughout the season, came through once again to snatch a last minute equalizer from the spot in the 90th minute.
Abban showed up and scored from the spot after a controversial penalty was awarded by the center referee in the last minute of the game when a Hearts of Lions attacker tripped in the penalty area.
The draw means Bashiru Hayford’s side will have a place in the Ghana premier league for the coming season with Bofoakwa Tano, Real Tamale United and Accra Great Olympics getting relegated.
