Kpando Hearts of Lions emerged victorious in their matchday 32 clash with reigning champions  Medeama Sporting Club at the Tarkwa Akoon park.

The visitors who needed a victory to keep their survival alive, had to wait till the dying embers of the game to grab the needed winner.

The first half ended in a goalless draw following an entertaining half from both sides.
Hearts of Lions were awarded a penalty in the 89th minute when one of their attackers was fouled in the penalty box.
Ebenezer Aban’s effort was however denied by goalkeeper Appiah Kubi.

The visitors kept pushing until the last minute of the game when skipper Ebenezer Aban stepped up again to grab the winner from the spot in the 90+13 minute.
The victory moves Hearts of Lions out of the relegation zone to the 13th position with 41points.
They need a victory against Legon Cities in their next league game to keep their chances of surviving alive.
