Accra Hearts of Oak have completed their survival mission with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park on Sunday afternoon.

The Phobians who needed a victory to escape relegation, overturned Bechem United’s early lead to secure their spot in the Ghana Premier League for next season.

Emmanuel Owusu gave the Hunters an early lead in the 29th minute but failed to hold on to the lead as Accra Hearts of Oak drew leveled in the 32nd minute.

Bismark Edjeodji restored Bechem United’s lead with a 59th minute goal to put Hearts of Oak fans in a state of dilemma.

The Phobians however responded quickly with two goals in the 71st and 74th minute from Kelvin Asibey and Yaw Amankwah Baafi to secure their stay in the Ghana premier league.

The victory means Accra Great Olympics are relegated from the Ghana premier league with Karela United and Hearts of Lions getting points in their various games.
