The initiative is designed to offer football fans the opportunity to win fully sponsored trips to support the Black Stars in all three group-stage matches at the World Cup. Through the bonanza, fans can participate in draws that guarantee transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity to win.
Speaking at the launch, GFA President, Mr. Kurt Simeon Okraku encouraged Ghanaians to seize the opportunity, highlighting the positive experience and exposure such an initiative could offer. “I encourage everyone to participate in this exciting opportunity that Rambell and NLA are providing. Supporting the Black Stars at the World Cup can open doors to many experiences and connections. Let us all take part and rally behind our national team,” he said.
The Director General of the National Lottery Authority Mr. Mohammed Abdul Salam emphasized the importance of transparency and national unity in the execution of the bonanza. “As a state agency, we believe in promoting transparency, fairness, and the collective national interest. The NLA has built a credible platform that enables corporate entities to create opportunities that benefit the Ghanaian public. It is on this same platform that our partnership with Rambell and the GFA will operate, ensuring that every Ghanaian who participates does so with trust and confidence.”
He further highlighted why the NLA’s involvement is essential. “The law mandates the National Lottery Authority to supervise and ensure transparent raffles and promotional draws. Football, as we all know, is a unifying force in our society. It brings us together regardless of background. Therefore, we are proud to be part of a movement that combines integrity, national pride, and the passion of the game.”
Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director of Rambell Mr. Rockson explained the strategic partnership and community driven purpose behind the initiative. “As a growing company, we recognize the need to align our brand with strong and credible institutions. The Ghana Football Association and the National Lottery Authority are iconic organizations that embody transparency, trust, and national identity. Partnering with them forms part of our rebranding and repositioning strategy aimed at building a brand that reflects integrity and opportunity.”
He also stressed that the World Cup Bonanza is about giving back. “Today’s launch is more than a corporate announcement it is a movement. A movement that believes every Ghanaian deserves a chance a chance to participate, a chance to win, and a chance to live their dream of supporting the Black Stars on the world stage. This initiative is affordable, transparent, and rooted in the values of hope, unity, and passion. That is what football represents, and that is what Rambell stands for.”
The public has been advised to avoid unapproved individuals or platforms claiming to be associated with the bonanza, as such schemes could be attempts to defraud unsuspecting participants. Only official communication from the GFA, NLA, and Rambell should be trusted.
