Leicester City have reached a deal to acquire Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew for £8 million, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
The 32-year-old Ghana international has made a significant impact during his time with the Eagles, contributing 23 goals and 22 assists in 212 appearances across all competitions.
Ayew joined Crystal Palace on loan in August 2018 and made his move permanent in July 2019.
His tenure at the club showcased his abilities as a reliable forward. In the recent match against Brentford, Ayew started on the bench, entering the game in the final 20 minutes as a substitute for Daichi Kamada, although the Eagles lost 2-1.
Leicester City, who returned to the Premier League last season, opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
Ayew attracted interest from Saudi Arabian clubs this summer but has chosen to continue his career in England.
He is now set for a medical examination with Leicester City, as they prepare to welcome him to their squad.
