Before the first whistle, a minute’s silence was observed in honour of the eight fallen heroes who tragically lost their lives in last Wednesday’s helicopter incident.

The women’s division opened the day’s action as Police Ladies “arrested” Legonknights with a commanding 5-0 win. Reformers and Extinguishers settled for a 1-1 stalemate, while GRA handed Army a 2-0 defeat to close the women’s games for the day. GRA now lead the women’s league table with 21 points, followed by Army on 13 points and Police Ladies in third with 12 points. Extinguishers sit fourth on 7 points, Reformers are fifth with 5 points, and Legonknights remain at the bottom with just 1 point.
In the men’s division, Exchequers faced GRA, who came into the fixture at the summit of the table. GRA were seeking revenge for their 7-0 first-round defeat, while Exchequers were aiming to reclaim the top spot. The defending champions proved dominant once again, winning 3-0 to bring their goal tally against GRA this season to 10.

Army carried their momentum from last week’s 3-2 victory over Exchequers into their clash with Legonknights, registering their biggest win of the season with a 6-0 triumph. Reformers humbled Arkmen 3-0 to round off the day’s men’s matches.
After the weekend’s results, Exchequers now lead the men’s table with 17 points, followed closely by Army with 16 points. GRA and Police share 15 points each in third and fourth positions respectively, Reformers are fifth with 9 points, Arkmen have 2 points in sixth place, while Legonknights remain bottom with -2 points.
