Egyptian side Ghazl EL Mahalla SC closes in on Medeama Sporting Club defender Hamidu Abdul Fatawu

Egyptian side, Ghazl El Mahalla SC are closing in on the signing of Hamidu Abdul Fatawu from Medeama Sporting Club, AfricanSportsNews.com can exclusively confirm. 

The Black Stars defender is reportedly in Egypt to complete his medicals ahead of the mega move.
The 25year old was heavily linked to 2024 CAF Confederations Cup champions Zamalek SC until a last minute twist which will now see him join El Mahalla.

Hamidu was part of Medeama Sporting Club's squad that featured in the 2023/2024 Ghana premier league and the CAF Champions League. 

The former Accra Lions left back made his Black Stars debut in October 2023 as Ghana defeated Liberia by 3-0 at the Accra sports stadium.
