Ghanaian and Fenerbahce center back, Alexander Djiku is likely to miss Ghana's crucial World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic due to injury.

The Fenerbahce defender suffered a knock in their final game of the season against İstanbulspor and he's yet to report to camp.

The former Strasbourg defender was named in Otto Addo's final squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers and his absence will be a huge blow to the Black Stars.

The Black Stars begun their camping at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday, May 31st, 2024.
All players trained with the exception of Osman Bukari and Djiku who are yet to report to Camp.

Ghana will take on Mali in Bamako on June 6th before hosting Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on 10th June 2024.
